I wasn't there when it began, and I admit I really don't get it !
Does it mean something ?
If yes, then what ?
Is it of any use ?
And so, how come ?
Must I cheer up when I get one ?
Can I afford to give some to other people ?
Is it just another meme ?

A mon sens c'est aussi subtil et représentatif que les amis sur fessebook.
Eh ! Tu veux devenir mon copain, hein ! Dis, hein !
C'est plus ou moins un indicateur de popularité, pas très intéressant en somme...
It was Aliens before.
Now it's llamas.
Who knows what it will be next.
All I know is that since the start of the day I have gotten 4 llama badges.
So how many of them do you have? And is your page or gallery doing any better?
In fact, clicking on the "Llamas" opens a dialogue box.
Does it say who "Llama'd" you???
My point is, seriously, ...what real good is it versus those other long ago and more direct means of communication (comment boxes, private messages, art critique boxes, emoticons, image rating system) don't already afford us?
Are we loosing the power of speech, of forming original thoughts, of really talking "one on one" with another breathing human being afront you; in the information age, we be reduced only to talk by holding up scratched out graphic symbols afront one another?
Are we creating and advocating an "ineducation society"?
Is the new generation, this "tech generation", really that dumb??
